Railway Goods Wagons

Our 100 Year Old Railway Goods Wagons have been lovingly and painstakingly restored into luxury glamping units. Both of the wagons had been abandoned for over 50 years in a field, having last been used (as far as we can tell) for transporting grain or goods in the late 1960s. We have attempted to keep as many of the original features as possible, but both wagons were in a sorry state of repair when we  found them - see the renovation journey images below.

Each of the wagons contains: 1 king size double day bed, 2 standard single bunk beds (Please note that no bedding is included - you will need to bring your own), electric stove-style heater, lights and fairy lights, electric sockets and USB sockets, work-top fridge, mugs, glasses, water jug, kettle, plastic (child-friendly) cutting knives, chopping mats, cutlery, large plates, small plates, cereal bowls, serving bowls, cooking utensils, saucepans, frying pan, washing up bowl, washing up brush, tea towels, can opener, cork screw / bottle opener, colander, grater, broom, dustpan and brush, and 2 blankets. There is a single gas stove / hob, which takes canister gas (not supplied - you are welcome to bring your own, or they are also available in our shop). No cooking (or naked flames) is permitted inside the wagons. Outside there is a picnic bench, food prep table, fire pit and bench seating.
